Forum 225 announced today it will host its Annual Meeting and Forum Fever event on Thursday, February 25 with State Representative Ted James as keynote speaker.
At the meeting, Forum 225 President Neva Butkus will note the organization’s 2020 achievements, announce its Member of the Year, and call for a vote on the 2021-22 Forum 225 Board Slate. Following her remarks, State Representative Ted James will give a keynote address on the importance of young professional civic involvement.
“Forum 225 is an incredible outlet for young professionals to develop leadership skills, give back through community service, and learn more about the Baton Rouge community,” said Butkus. “Young professionals have the power to make Baton Rouge a better place to live, work and grow. Forum 225 is an organization that allows young professionals to come together to make a collective impact.”
Forum 225’s mission is to create opportunities for young professionals to grow philanthropically, professionally, and civically. The organization aims to enhance the vitality of the Baton Rouge community through civic-minded and service-oriented young professionals. Forum 225 also released its first ever Young Professional Policy Platform in November.This event will be held virtually and is free and open to the public.
